A few days ago I had a my antvirus detect a trojan in my computer.
I dont know how it came may be from LAN downloads. But since then I have been encountering the problem
"Host Controller encountered problem" Send Error report to misrosoft.
Task manager shows increasing number of SVCHOST Processes and the PF usage goes upto 700MB within an hour. Though the CPU usage remains normal but this is affecting my computer performance.
I have had all viruses cleared (there was only one) and my antivirus uptodated. I have gone through forums on SVCHOST problems and tried downloading the WindowsXP-KB927891.exe as well as the update agent WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe and installed as provided. But none worked for me.
