asking for administrator

Hi, I have recently bought a laptop for my mother and i'm trying to install broadband. I have setup the laptop with windows vista and I assume that it has all been done correctly. The laptop seems to be working fine. When I put the first disc in to install broadband it says that I need to log back in as the administrator.
I have setup the main account which is password protected and also a guest account. When checking the main account it says underneath the account name that it is the administrator.
Can someone please tell me if I have done something wrong.
Thanks.

When you put the disk in the drive, close it down when it autoloads then search the disc. Right click on Setup.exe or Install.exe and click on 'Run as Administrator'.
If you tell us what the name of the Broadband operator is we may be able to help you a little better.

Thanks Alan.
This is the setup. I have broadband with TalkTalk. I am running it through a wireless router supplied by them, but as it is made by Phillips and there technical advisors have only been trained in the wired modems they supply they cannot really help. Although I had problems installing everything on my laptop, after messing about for a few hours I finally got connected.
I have just bought a new laptop for my mother as she has also gone with TalkTalk. I new I was going to have similar problems getting her connected, but at the moment I can't even start the disc. As I don't exactly know what I did to connect my laptop I would appreciate any help on getting her connected.
The one concern I have at the moment is, when I took my laptop down to her house I assumed that my laptop would connect to her wireless modem automatically, but it didn't. Shoud this have happened after connecting the modem to the phone line or do things need to be set up first before any pc can connect to it.
I'm thinking that broadband may not be activated, although they have sent a letter saying it has.
Many thanks.

This is what I have found out, Do not try to use the CD, just connect everything.

All you have to do is connect all the various bits, fire up and log into I E. then type in 192.168.1.1 and press enter
.
You should have a piece of paper with the rest of the instructions on.

I will try to research Talk Talk a bit more and post any more info I get.

EDIT

This link is to Talk Talk's help page on how to connect with Vista, hope it helps

Thanks Alan, I will be going down my mothers this afternoon, so I will try your advice then.
Should my laptop be able to connect to her wireless modem. If not I will write evrything down before going.
Cheers.

Lets us know how you get on, whether or not its succesful. The Talk Talk link I posted seemed to be easy enough to follow, but you never know.
