Computer Broken?

well if you get it tested again,and have another dead board.id say get a power supply to.if it keeps killing boards it is bad.have you tried to reset the bios like i told ya before unplug it,and remove the battery on the board for a few minutes.put the battery back in and try again.see what happens.

Ok I'm going to dig into my computer and try reinserting my GFX card and replugging everything in and putting the battery in and back out

I did the thing with the battery and it sits there frozen at a screen that says Press DEL to enter setup, F1 to continue, and then F8 and F9 for other things...

I try pressing any of them and it does nothing and I reboot and it either randomly gets no signal, or sits there frozen at the screen.

sigh..

why me?

I really dont have any money to spend on buying Another motherboard..

just out of curiosity who tested the machine.was it a computer only store or somewhere like circuit city etc etc.

Computer store named Data Doctors..they seemed professional
I paid 100$ for a complete diagnosis of the PC

id have the board itself tested again.if that new board is dead most likely your power supply is bad,and killing boards.what kind of board did they put in your computer.

well biostar is a decent brand of board.being that its new you could have it replaced free most likely.if not through the store through biostar via rma process.if the new board is gone i would seriously think very hard about replacing your power supply.

get someone your friend who knows about computers the shop someone.to check out that board,if that board is dead get it replaced rma through the store or on your own.check with that store,and see what they say first.just call and tell em what happened.find out what they will do then we can work from there.

have you been overclocking,or changeing anything in the bios prior to this occurance.

I don't think I've ever gone into the BIOS in my life (no I haven't been in them)


It seems real strange..I was just sitting there playing WoW very smoothly and all of a sudden I heard a strange noise and then all this started to happen.
I don't understand what started this giant chain of events?
I wasn't installing new hardware or anything like last time.
