Alright, I'll keep that in mind, thanks; though my current board is an ECS.

Rob will become famous soon enough
Oniketsoku,

I am not sure if you want to make this investment, but at Circuit City you can purchase a power supply tester. That will at least tell you if it is the power supply before you spend the $60.

The tester costs $20 bucks so it may not be worth it to you, but could be of use in the future.

Power Supply Tester at Circuit City.

well like i said it truly is a toss up on what is wrong.between the board, and power supply.as forementioned youngyear power supplies are not good, and that info i got from jonnyguru.com,and he is an expert on power supplies without doubt.ecs boards, and youngyear power supplies both use fuhjyuu capacitors.these caps are infamous for busting, and leaking when they get to hot,and under any load stress.i also said to be on the safe side i personally would replace both to rule out future problems from either.

edit:list your full system specs cpu,how many hard drives etc etc.after further investigation i see that youngyear power supply only has 1x12v 13 amp rail.which is a bit low on power.

i just wanted to enter your system into the online power supply calculator.to see if you were exceeding your power supplies wattage rating,by the way you are not.the only way you are going to be able to run the exact problem down.is get the power supply tester as rob suggested,or borrow a power supply.honestly it sounds like the board, however if it was high ripple noise form the power supply that caused it.most likely the same thing will occur again.unless by chance you have done it in with static from touching something.

Yeah.

I brought it to a store yesterday and they said it's the motherboard or the RAM.

They'll be getting back to me later today on what it is.

Well, my computer has been working flawlessly the past two days - up until 20 minutes ago.
I was playing WoW when all of a sudden the game and computer froze up and nothing would do anything, I powered it down, and when I power it back up, my monitor got no signal, just sitting there on a blank screen. I tried replugging everything in like 15 times. I got my sister's monitor and hers gets no signal either. Any suggestinos..? ~_~

I tried plugging in my monitor to the slot in the board and it still gets no signal.
The board/GFX card are brand new I have no clue what could be going on...

The monitor did this initially when I first powered on the computer when I got it back from the store, it eventually worked but I forget what I did - I don't think it was anything special..
