youngyear ooh thats not a good one,but unfortunately the ecs board is of equally low quality.to really be on the safe side against future problems like this.i would personally say replace em both.youngyear also builds apevia "formerly known as aspire" power supplies,and those things have been known to be fire hazards.

Alright. So buy a new power supply and see how that goes?

Btw I don't have any clue how to remove the old one and install the new one - hypotheticallly.

it still could be either,but new power supply is a good place to start.just google how to install a power supply you will find tutorials on how to.if you have a problem doing it just post back here on the forum,and we will help.what kind of budget will you have for this.maybe i can help with selection of parts.

The max I can spend is 60$

Yes...i know, not a lot to work with
but i just spent 250$ on a new GFX card and ram ><

Very preferably Radio Shack - locally at my Zip Code 32937 ( Satellite Beach )
Also Best Buy or Circut city could work if it wasn't too far away.

Anywhere local.

that would be fine ive used an ultra power supply before with no problems.if it turns out to be the board post back,and i will help ya find a cheap,but decent board.either way keep the new power supply that youngyear thing is trash.

edit: it says web only,and ships to stores which means you will have to order it online.then you can pick it up at the local store

Alright pharoah. Thanks a lot for taking like 2 1/2 hours out of your day to help me, I appreciate it a lot and the fast service; i'll be sure to forward my friends to this forum whenever they need help.

I'll get the power supply and post back once I've put it in.
I'll let ya know how things go.

Also. Do you think they'd have it in stock? Or would have to order it first?
