Freeze Ups, Reboots and Errors

I have an e-machine with Windows 98 SE on it. When I attempt to run programs the unit either freezes, reboots, or displays numerous error messages on the blue screen. I have formatted my hard drive and re-installed all my software. Can someone please Helpppppppp!!!!!!

Does this happen with all different programs, or certain programs? Do you have the numbers that are in some of the error messages?

No certain programs. Sorry, I don't have the numbers. Only that they are fatal exception errors. As far as rebooting, it happens just whenever.

Have you tried going to the Windows website and updating your media player? My moms was doing that and thats what she had to do. I wish that was the only problem now lol sounds like these computers are being a big pain these days!!!
