Angry Hp Pavilion8756C problem

I have a HP Pavilion 8756C computer with millinium on it. Everytime I turn it on the desktop turns pink. I have went into where you change settings but it does not help no matter what I do. Does someone else out there have this problem? If so I wish I could get help with this. Thank you !

It sounds like a monitor fault. Maybe one of the pots has cooked, the green I believe. If you can, try another monitor, maybe a friends or somebody's.
I think it would be cheaper to buy a new monitor than to try to get it repaired, it is here in Sweden.

I had this once when the monitor connector just was not plugged in completely. You might try to disconnect it then reconnect it and make sure to tighten the thumb screws completely.
