Ok mate, lets try this.

Go to Start | Control Panel. 'Switch to Category View' and go to Date, Time Language, and Regional Options. Then choose Regional and Language Options and be sure to check some settings in there. For example, under Regional Options, make sure that you select your prefered format. Moving on, go to 'Languages' and click 'Details'. It's important to select English as your default input language. And move on to Advanced and again select English. Play with them!

Let us know if this works mate, i hope hehe Should be something to do with language properties I suppose, so try them and reply

Regards

Unhappy

Iève tried everything you said, the langauge was set to english already. I donèt have advanced options in Windows98. As you can tell, itès not working yet. It seems that I need these important keys more than I thought.

Make sure the language is NOT set to English International you need to check the keyboard layout in the control panel as well. Go to Start / Control Panel / Keyboard, and click on the Input Locals tab. You will see a list of installed keyboard languages/layouts.

Help us to help you!
Be specific with your problem and tell us your machines specs.
