Help me to Upgrade BIOS

I was thinking of upgrading the bios lately. I have a file called 'awdflash.exe' (which I think it's the flasher), and '65fvc1.bin' which is my motherboard.

I was told that it's not difficult to upgrade the BIOS, but you have to give extra attention on what you do. So, before you start I shall have a bootable floppy together with the 2 files mentioned above. And this is my first problem here. When I make a boot disk under XP Pro, I am getting these files instead of the IO.SYS, COMMAND.COM and MSDOS.SYS:

DISLPLAY.SYS
EGA2.CPI
EGA3.CPI
EGA.CPI
KEYB.COM
KEYBOARD.SYS
KEYBRD2.SYS
KEYBRD3.SYS
KEYBRD4.SYS
MODE.COM
