Help please

Somehow, my IE has been hijacked by a search taskbar at the top and bottom when a new IE window opens up. I wonder if someone could help me get rid of these, as they are annoying. Also, even though I have the pop-up option checked to block pop-ups, they still happen. This used to work pretty good. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to the following page and scroll down about 1 page. You will see a link to download this application. Once you have it downloaded, run it and it will give you a list of all of the spyware that is on your computer and will give you choices to uninstall them.

Also, do you have up to date antivirus installed?

Thanks for replying. I tried what you had listed. It finds the spyware and mal-ware and removes it. But the next time I start IE, the stuff is still there. It must be hiding somewhere else. I need to know how to go digging for it. Anymore suggestions would be appreciated.
