usb ports

I have a usb 2 at the front of my computer that seems to work every time, but some times when i connect my Philips music centre to the rear it will not put out the sound like on the front usb2, but reads the track names.
What i would like to know is are all the usb ports usb2 on my machine and how do i find out this?
The computer is a Platina 3400mhz chip running XP, machine is two months old.

About my Favorites, What I mean is can i have two Favorite dropdown boxes, or more.
Reg...

If your PC is only two months old, I would think that they are USB2. Tell us the make and model number of your PC and we will try to check.
In the meantime, check that they are activated in your bios. Normally they are of course, but if there has been a bios upgrade maybe they are not activated.

Be specific with your problem and tell us your machines specs.

To get to your bios press either F1 or DEL repeatedly on start-up (when you see the blue screen). You should see a little message telling you which of the two keys it is (it varies with different manufactorers). Dont mess with the settings, just look for your USB settings.
