ME to XP

I'm only asking if this is possible.
I have two computers, one XP and one millennium (ME).
If I used some kind of copy systems program, would I be able to copy XP to an 80gb hard drive and put that in the old computer.
That way I would have both computers using XP.
The old computer has a 750mhz cpu and is working fine with 'ME' at the moment.
I know there is more to this than meets the eye but would it work in principal.

Alan will become famous soon enough
You would need to put your Xp setup disk into the 'ME' machine and install it that way. You cannot just copy the system files from one machine to another.

Help us to help you!
Be specific with your problem and tell us your machines specs.

Thumbs up XP to ME

Thats fair if only i had an XP disc, as the new machine came with it installed.
Will live with ME on the old machine as i do not use it that often, and it is working fine.
Thanks for advise, may try networking the two some time.
I have found a good book in my library about computers called Haynes PC Projects by Kyle MacRae, has some good tips on networking.
