Sonic Manager update

Afternoon,

I have a Dell Dimension Desktop with Windows XP Home operating system. Out of nowhere, on startup I started getting a message that Sonic Manager Update was trying to load. It tries to search for a CD to get it from and can not find one.

Can anyone help me get rid of this pesky message and solve this problem?

Thanks and have a GREAT day
Grover

Start RecordNow.
Click on the Options (wrench) icon.
Click on "General."
Under 'Startup' remove the checkmark from 'Check for updates'.
Click on 'OK'.
Reboot to make sure the 'Update' Manager' has been disabled.
