Thumbs up Best Free Windows Utilities

QT TabBar is a little utility that allows you to add tabs to Windows Explorer. I think it is a valued addition to the Explorer toolbar. It works with Windows XP (needs NET Framework 2 or 3) and Vista.
There is an online manual but I found it a little confusing, Yes Pharoah, I know it’s my age!
So here are the basics:

Install the program then either Log Off/ and back On or Reboot.
Open My Documents or a folder then click on View / Toolbars. If the ‘Lock Toolbars’ box is checked, uncheck it.
Click on QT TabBar to enable it, it will take a second or two.
Now lock the toolbars again.

To start using QT TabBar, its this simple:
if you have a middle mouse button or a scroll wheel, point your mouse at a folder and ‘Middle’ click or drag and drop the folder onto the tab bar.
When you move your mouse over a folder, you will see a little blue arrow next to the folder If you click on the arrow, you will see the contents of that folder.
