Hi Andy,
I usually buy components from local computer stores, a few of which have web sites (priceless computing, misco). It would depend on your location, how far you are prepared to travel, or how long you are prepared to await delivery.

Kind Regards
Michael

As Michael said, without knowing your location it hard to advise. Two online shops I use, which you have in the UK, is Misco.co.uk and Komplett.co.uk
Now whether or not these are in America, I dont know.
Tell us your location and I am sure you will get some good recomendations.

Help us to help you!
Be specific with your problem and tell us your machines specs.

TBH the best thing i find to do is decide what parts you are after and then google it, hunting around will find you the best price, might mean you have to wait for delivery tho.

If you let us know of an idea of budget and are you needing all components or just basic? What about Harddrive space, DVD RW, accessories etc?

Andy,

I have purchased PC Components from Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! before. They also sell barebones systems that may help you as well.
