Then you proberly dont have SP1.
To be totaly honest with you, if you do not know how to navigate to C:/Windows/System32 folder, we are going to have a tough time trying to help you but we shall continue for now.
I want to send you two files, because it would be suicide trying to explain how to edit the registry to you, but I need your email address. Just send an email to
a.wade@bredband.net and then I can email two reg hacks to you.
This will be the easiest way to help you.
But first try this:
Click on the Orb (the Start button).
In the white line area (the search box), type cmd .
When your pc finds it, Right click cmd and then click
Run as administrator.
Now a black box will open. This is the commmand prompt.
Do
not delete anything, just type
sfc /scannow (take note that there is a space between sfc and /scannow).
Now leave the pc to complete the task, it may take a long while and it may ask for your Vista disk, so have it ready.
When it is finished close the command prompt window then restart your PC.
Post back and let us know how your pc is.
