I need help with someting...I need a way to totally chnage a computer's ID, or Fingerprint if you will...I want to change the HD MF #, and things of that sort, any Serial # and AdaptorID, to trick my other computer into thinking this is a new PC, I am running tests on some software, this software is not built by me but my roomate and while he is outta town i must test a couple of things, so wht i need help with is to chnage my computer without chnageing any parts at all
To make this harder for me, he told me nothing about wht the software does, but wht i managed to come up with is it takes ID's and Serial Numbers of many different parts on my computer and creates a MD5 Hash, or it may creat multiple Hashes, one of those two.....help would be greatly appreciated

Helping you to change a computers identity would literally open the doors for anyone involved in computer theft.
If you want to test some software that will identify serial numbers of software hardware etc, why not just test it on other machines, friends family etc.
Maybe others members can help you a little more than I can.

I see wht u mean but this is not for theft, and not to mention i can't afford more computers and don't want to ship out to cali to get my rents, i tired getting more from other students here but none would offer due to the fact we may cause damage in some way
