copying to cd

i have nero on my desktop but still don't know how to use it, also i cannot find my works cd so should i therefore plug the laptop into the internet and get it from there? Thanx again Alan

I dont think you will be able to download MS Works but you can try the Microsoft site. www.microsoft.com I will write out a quick tutorial on Nero and post it here in a short while.

Ok, Open Nero StartSmart.
Click on CD (top right) highlight data, then click on create data CD. (I think thats what it says in English). See first picture.
A new window will open, (second picture) locate the files, data whatever you want to burn in the righthand window.
Highlight them and using your mouse, drag them to the left hand window. (see arrow 1).
When you have all the files that you want to burn (or the CD has reached its maximum, that is indicated at the bottom of the window) click on burn CD, its the fifth icon from the right (see arrow 2).
click OK to burn and that is it!

Good Luck and let me know if you are still not sure.

PS Nero can burn many things and has lots of different settings, but for now just use the default.
