Running A Pc On A Tv!

Hi, im am just about 2 buy a new pc (sff) used for gaming and want it to be able to run on TVs so when i go round mates houses i can play dvds,games etc. How can i make it run on a tv?

Well, we need more info - you'll need to have some sort of converter that provides a signal that your TV knows how to deal with - probably RCA. Many new retail video cards provides one for you. If your video card does have a TV out feature, you can set it in Control Panel - Display Properties -> Settings Tab -> Advanced. Depending on your chipset manufacturer, you should be able to find some setting to clone the output to your TV. Be forewarned that TV output usually max out at 800x600 unless you have a HDTV set.

Many projectors out there have a standard DB14 monitor jack that you can plug into without any converters at all. Another option is to buy a converter that does the above function.
