| You probably have Norton Anti-Virus installed. Whenever your e-mail client receives your e-mail, Norton will intercept it first and look for any viruses (which is why you're seeing the envelope status popping up). After clearing any viruses that it finds, it will return the mail to your mail client. It will also do the same process when you're sending out mail. This is completely normal. You can disable the scanning process if you wish under the Norton AntiVirus Preferences (E-mail section). |
