computer problem
my computer hangs and reboots itself very often and it even hangs when im running the repair operation from winxp cd. this does not happen when someone connects my hard disk to their system and does the repair operation. is my graphic card giving me problems or is it my motherboard or something else???....games also hang in between be it any game.

It sounds like it is heat related. Have you overclocked and components? Are all of your fans, including the cpu fan operational?

cannot be heat related...i have one side of the cabinet out at all times(dont ask me why)...any other suggestions....if it is of any help...my system clock also shows 28th may 2002 on startup...should i get my motherboard changed or not???please advice.

I have seen computers before that removing the case or parts of a case made a heat problem worse as it was changing the intended airflow and cooling.
