OK, I've been thinking about getting a third computer to play with some progs that could replace Windows and MS Office. (I'm not that interested in Vista)
Linux seems to be the next best operating system (not interested in Mac) that is an alternative to the status quo. I'm thinking
Open Office will probably work out fine to take the place of my MS Office progs.
So, what version of Linux is the most stable? I know it's been around awhile so there should be some good stable versions available (I like trouble free!)
Does anyone know of an eFax program that will work on Linux? I've been using the program from eFax.com (not their service, just their program cause it works great)?
This program saves documents in .efx format, but it's basically a .tiff image converted to .efx (Hopefully, I'll be able to find a prog for Linux to work with .efx extensions)
Anyway, what would you guys recommend as being the most stable version of Linux OS? Redhat, maybe?
