Smile Mac Internet Problem

Last night my MAC wouldn't connect to the internet via the Ethernet cable.
I plugged it in Via USB and it worked. Now I can't get either to work.

If anyone knows anything about MAC's please help. I need to get my mac on line again

Thanks

unplug the hub for a couple minutes that will reset it,and possibly fix the issue.

I've found out what the problem was, it was my router. One of the ports wasn't working so they are going to send me a replacement.
