Best Linux Distribution?

Which is it? Redhat, Caldera, Slackware?

Others?

Anyone try Lindows? How is it?

I'm using Red Hat 9 at the moment. Seems very good. Only reason I went with it is that it's what my web hosting providers are using and they seem to know what they're doing.

I just installed Gentoo on my brother's machine. Although it does take some time to compile- the results are worth it. Besides, how many people compile their own OS

Personally, I would recommend Gentoo or FreeBSD (even though BSD is not linux) because of their excellent packaging system (portage on gentoo and ports on FreeBSD). Installing software has never been easier.
