Best Linux Distribution?

dreamnid Super Tech Join Date: Dec 30 2003 Posts: 30	I just installed Gentoo on my brother's machine. Although it does take some time to compile- the results are worth it. Besides, how many people compile their own OS Personally, I would recommend Gentoo or FreeBSD (even though BSD is not linux) because of their excellent packaging system (portage on gentoo and ports on FreeBSD). Installing software has never been easier.
