Laptop & Projectors

hi,

using an intel extreme graphics 2 card in a laptop. it has been connecting fine to epson s4 & s3 projectors fine but now cannot get an output to any projector. i can connect a monitor and it works fine. i have re-installed everythin and still is the case. put it down to hardware for the one laptop but now have 2 other laptops with the same issue (but using the same graphics driver).

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Daniel will become famous soon enough
Have you updated the drivers recently, or changed / did anything before it stopped working?

im not 100% for sure how to connect to a projector.i would assume a vga,or s-video out.check your settings sometimes you have to manually switch to that type output over the lappy's built in monitor.

yeh changing over on lappy is easy enough especially the intel graphics software supports such functions and is a case of pressing FN and F5 buttons then switches over to projector.

but now it wont do this. i think its a problem with the graphics card to be honest re installed lappy (re partition, format, the works) but still no joy. (also tried several projectors).

take it no ones come across this before lol.
appreciate the help though folks

try changeing it in the control panel under display settings, advanced tab.the shortcut so to speak with the function key"fn key",and f5 may be out of whack.this could have happened from a driver update, amybe the new driver didnt have the fn,f5 shortcut in it.
