Question I know this is a silly question but....

I am running windows 98 with 64RAM, I now need to upgrade the memory to 256MB. Do I need to back up all my files? Please help...many thanks

Hey fields of gold, welcome to PCSupport Forums. First of all it is a good move to backup your files frequently, especially if you have important documents. Second, if you are going to upgrade your memory, you don't have to backup your files, because it's not going to effect them.

The question is not silly and I back-up everything Daniel says, always back-up your important data but adding RAM wont effect it.

Help us to help you!
Be specific with your problem and tell us your machines specs.
