Hi im a bit shy here being a newbie...only joking i just loved the emoticon.
I have a problem with javascript and debugging. I love to play 3D pool on shockwave.com but cant cos the "play" button doesnt work, and anything else to do with java doesnt work either. i also dont know how to use the debugging tool either.
I have win xp

Norton antivirus - which was disabled at time
outpost firewall - "
microsoft virtual machine (which had disappeared from my comp!! but managed to re download) - is enabled.

I cant think of any thing else you might need to know.

Have you tried this?

Some Java games may have conflicts with Sun Java so disabling Sun Java may resolve issues that are occurring in a game. To disable this option, follow the steps below.

Step 1
At the top of your browser click Tools... then Internet Options... then the Advanced tab.

Step 2
In the Settings box, scroll down to Java (Sun).

Step 3
Uncheck the Use Java… box.

Step 4
Scroll down to Microsoft VM and make sure the "JIT compiler for virtual machine" box is checked.

Step 5
Click Apply and OK.

Step 6
Open a new Internet browser window and try playing the game again.

You may want to try going to macromedia.com and installing the latest version of the flash player for your pc. Use this link.
