internet explorer dial up window

hi,

I have a problem which is probably really easy to fix but i just don't know how to do it.

To connect to the internet I used to click on internet explorer desktop icon which would open the explorer window and then a smaller dial up window for user name, password etc.

Now when i click on the internet desktop icon it opens the explorer window but no smaller dial up window appears. At the minute i have to connect by opening network connections from the taskbar which is a bit inconvenient.

So my question is, how can i get this dial up window to appear when i open internet explorer? I hope i'v explained this ok.

go to "file" up above, then go down to "work online" and click. close internet exp and start it up again and it should be there..hopefully


As an afterthought sometimes when i go on the internet i get a message saying "there is no connection to the internet available". so if this is what your getting go to "tools" above, "internet options", "connections" and click radio button "Always dial my default connection", "apply & ok"
