Java problems

Hello again everyone,

I'm having a real issue with java on this computer. XP (SP2) Everytime I go to my favorite game site (iwin.com) and try to play anything I get these messages:
"Java(TM) Plug-in Fatal Error
The java runtime environment cannot be loaded"

Then when I procede I get this one:
"Java(TM) Plug-in Fatal Error
Several Java Virtual Mechines running in the same process caused an error"

Now I think most of this started when I downloaded MSN web messager, but I have since deleted that, and all versions of Java. I reinstalled the new version of java 6 something, but the errors came back with it????

Any clues to what I'm dealing with over here?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Neil

This is a known issue within Sun Java.

Make sure the Desktop Authority Manager is closed.
Upgrade to latest version of Sun Java from sun.com here.

Go to Start then Control Panel then Java under Java Applet Runtime Settings, click on ‘View’ now double click the box under ‘Java Runtime Parameters’ and enter a value above half of system's physical memory.

For example, if your RAM is 1024 MB, enter a value "-Xmx768M" or above "-Xmx1024" without the quotes.

Click OK then Apply then OK
Restart Desktop Authority Manager and it should now work.

I have included a couple of screenshots to help you along.

Let us know how you get on.
