Im stumped!!

Cannot connect to internet. XP SP2. Can ping gateway, can arp. Can detect conflict in ip. Reloaded ie6, reloaded drivers for nic. Reloaded Protocols, checked cable, jack etc.. There are two computers out of 500 that have this problem. They are both dell optiplex. They are both in same lab. Have switched lan cables for computers. They just will not connect. Any ideals?
Thanks
Bill

Alan,
Yes I cross conected the non conecting computer jacks to know good ones. Same results. DNS is correct and configed. I have disabled and enabled, I have ran virus and adware/spyware checks. Same results-no connect. I think I will pick one and do a new install of xp on it. I can only see the non connecting computer on entire network. File/Printer sharing is set. I see no other shares from other computers.
Thanks
Bill
