| Saving Favorites? So this may be a really stupid question but how do I go about saving my favorites? I have tried and then everytime I click on the star there is nothing in there?

| Favourites is just a folder on your machine. In Windows XP it's probably in c:\documents and settings\-username-\Favourites, replace "-username-" with the name you used to log into Windows. Copy that directory and its subdirectories off somewhere, and it's been saved. | Help us to help you!

| I think what he wants is a backup of his favourites. Just a copy of teh folder Alan mentioned is enough, so if you;re going to do a clean installation just paste the backed up folder to the same directory again. | |

| Thank you all. I was really just trying to find out how to save a favorite site and Ray hit the nail on the head and now I am up an saving. Thanks so much you don't know how much this forum is helping me along in my learning process, I am even taking notes.

| hi there computernewbie , ray0711 here, i posted to u about saving favouites , if u want to hide the bin so u cant see it ,its easy, unlock desktop icons and get hold of the bin at the very , very top, it will hide behind system tray if its dragged there , i hate having icons on my desk top , so all my programmes that i use the most are in quick launch from the task bar ,,see u |
