I Need Windows Media Player Help

Hello,
I'm a newbe and am looking for some help. I have a website that I built myself and on this site I play music that I recorded. I use wmp files and had a "please excuse the decription" a player for accessing the file on my site. It had a play button and stop, fast forward, rewind etc. buttons as well. I originaly got the player from anouther website where I copy and pasted it. All was well until recently when the player stoped working. Now I need to find another player because I have lost the one I've been using by deleting it. I'm not real great with html but can manage some simple tasks. I would like to find this device on line somewhere so that I can copy it again and then insert my wmp files. Can anyone help?

Hey, welcome

I know what you're talking about, most of the people use those Windows Media Players for their websites, as you mentioned. However, when I did a search I found another player which might help you; and it seems that you can simply paste the code as you used to do ... but you have to read some documentation before.

It's kinda late ... 1:45am so I don't have the time to search for the Windows Media Player, I might search it when I get up :P Anyways, here you go:

XSPF Web Music Player (FLash)

Tell us if you manage to upload it Hope it helps.

The OP may have already moved along as his post was from March, but I will provide some info here incase anyone else needs the answer later.

Take a look at this website. It has all the steps to embed the Windows media player into your website. The actual code is on page 4 of the article. But to learn the details the complete article is interesting. Hope it helps.
