IE shuts down
when I try to log on to various web sites IE quickly shuts down. What is going on? This only happens with some sites.

I,m running internet explorer 6.02 and windows XP.
This happens on varioius computers that I have all on
DSL and various anti virus software(Norton, Mcaffee

Are the PC's networked and is it just some websites not all?
The biggest known cause of I.E. randomly closeing down is Spy/Adware. Scan for it with:
MicrosoftAntispyware
AdAware.
Spybot Search & Destroy
you could download a free trial of Spy Sweeper but the others are free.
