Auto re-direct code?

for some reason i cant remember or find the script for auto redirect, basicaly my site petfreaks.com i want the index page to autoredirect to petfreaks.com/main so it goes to the actual site... for some reason my host wont let me setup a autoredirect and ontop of that for some reason makes my CMS have wrong urls when you install in the root dir

If you have Dreamweaver MX 2004, go to Insert/HTML/Head Tag/ Refresh.
If you don't have it, copy the code below(you have to change some of it)

meta http-equiv="refresh" content="(seconds to countdown);URL=(Your url/links)"
