Internet Explorer Password/User Name Tips Whenever you enter a user name and password, Internet Explorer may ask if you want it to remember the password. If you click "Yes" it will automatically fill in the password next time you enter that user name. However if you click "Don't offer to remember any more passwords", it won't remember any more passwords. So, how do you get this feature back?
Start Internet Explorer, click Tools / Internet Options select the Content tab, click on the AutoComplete button, and check Prompt me to save passwords.
If you want to delete individual saved password entries go to the login box on a Web page and double-click. Your saved AutoComplete entries will appear in a drop down menu. Use the arrow keys to scroll to the one you want to remove, and press the Delete key. |
