 How To load I.E. Lightning Fast!
Do you find it annoying when you want to go to a new website, or any other site but you have to wait for your homepage to load?
This tweak tells Internet Explorer to simply run, without loading any web pages. (If you use a 'blank' page, that is still a page, and slows down access. Notice the 'about:blank' in the address bar. The blank html page must still be loaded). To load IE with nothing and nothing is different than blank:
Create a Internet Explorer shortcut if you don’t have one then right click on it.
Click Properties
Add -nohome with a space before the dash) after the end quotes in the Target field.
Click OK
Start IE from your modified shortcut, and be amazed by how fast you are able to use IE! |
