Monitor

When I am on the Internet and on my web page I experience these little square boxes approximate quarter inch square with numbers inserted in the box they stay on the monitor approximately 3 to 4 seconds or little bit longer it only happens when I am on the Internet it does not happen on my desktop. I have a pop-up blocker program which is working perfectly. These numbers appear at random across the web page.

Any help would be appreciated
Thank You

If you can, can you take a screen shot and post it here for us. If you dont know how to, or need a program, have a look at this post.

Monitor

Alan:
Sir, I have a capture program on my computer is called fast stone capture downloaded it from PC Magazine. Every time these objects or squares show up on the screen all I have to do is hit the capture button once and it captures the screen when I open it up the squares are not there. What I'm going to do is take a picture of the screen when this happens with a digital camera and send it as an attachment may be that will work I don't know.

I am running Windows X P professional A M D version 2002 and 1.24 gigahertz with 256 RAM.

Give me a little time and hopefully I'll get this done, thank-you for very much for being patient I am brand new at this.

Angry Monitor Pictures ( Mr. Alan)

Mr. Alan:

I took some pictures of my monitor with a digital camera, when I went to up load them on your site it would not let me do that because your attachment will only accept up to 100.0 KB and most of these pictures are reading from 179.0 KB and up. The only other way I could think of was sending you the pictures is by e-mail?. One other way to explain it is that when I point by point to (for example) the mailbox and to the print box little boxes show up explaining what you are pointing to. That is the experience of having but it is boxes all over my monitor with numbers inserted, this is the best way I can explain it without the mailing you the pictures.

Thank-you

Send them to my email address, then I will resize them and post them here for other members to see.
By the way, it is not my site, Rob is the owner I, like other members, just contribute anyway I can.

PS Does this only happen on your website or all websites?

OK, this is a picture emailed to me by Barry, anyone got any clues as to why the buttons are raised the way they are?
You may need to read all the posts in this thread to get the general idea of what I mean

That is very odd. Do you possibly have any accessibility options turned on in ie? Can you go to Help-About in IE and put the version number here so that I can review it.

Is Internet Explorer the browser you use to get on the Internet? If so, what version are you using? "Can you go to Help-About in IE and put the version number here so that I can review it."

Does this always happen? What did you last do before it started happening, did you install new software?

Try installing mozilla or firefox and see if that fixes your problem (I'm not saying to do this so that we don't have to solve the probblem but rather so that we can see if it's 3rd party software or something in i.e./windows that's turned on.

You said it does not do it anywhere else?

Barry, does this stay on your screen across a reboot? If you reboot now, does it come right back?
