The OpenCD is not new and infact this update was released last April. But 1) I missed it and 2) it deserves mentioning for those who dont have it.
Basically it is a free opensource CD download with many worthwhile free programs on it.
The Cd can be downloaded in iso format and then burnt to disc. It has a menu loader with a little description on each of the programs (See the list below).
