I read an article today and wanted to comment on it. The article discusses how computers are so prevalent in schools and in some districts keyboarding is now taught in kindergarten and how this may cause the demise handwriting or cursive writing.
I think it is about time that cursive writing went away. What is the point. It is much easier to read block text than cursive. With computer’s coming more and more a part of our lives, we are more accustomed to reading block. Personal written communication is now done mostly on computers using email messaging.
KILL CURSIVE HANDWRITING!
Is their still a point for cursive handwriting. Please share your comments.

Well Rob how are the children today going to sign checks and legal documents?? It is not the printed signature that counts but the one in cursive. Will you cherish a computer printed note from your child or take joy in a note written in their own beautiful handwriting?
